A few words
The Dentist
Dr. George Waites, DMD, was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He has been married to his sweet wife, Trina, since 2004. Together they have two boys – Will and Wesley. In his spare time, Dr. Waites enjoys coaching his boys’ sports, grilling, and cheering on Alabama football.
Dr. Waites graduated from Huntsville High School in 1997. He then went on to receive his B.S. in Sports Medicine from Samford University in 2001, where he also had a minor in Biology. From there, he received his dental training at UAB dental school, where he graduated as a full-certified and qualified dentist in 2005.

The Practice
Cove Dental Center, P.C. was established in May of 2007. The business grew over the next several years until a larger office was required. A brand-new facility in Jones Valley was built as our home for the practice with convenience and a high standard of care in mind. On October 1, 2013, we began seeing patients in our new and improved location.
